Showtime | Penny Dreadful

Great Job! was hired by Showtime Networks to develop and animate a number of promotional elements used for their show, Penny Dreadful.  

Aside from animating a bunch of satanic icons, one of the challenges was to create an animated text preset to be used for teases, promos, and countdowns.  

The concept was to have satanic glyphs transform into titles character by character.  We accomplished this by creating a custom font from the satanic glyphs and animating multiple text layers using expressions in After Effects.  

The template titles were then modified by simply changing a single layer that updated the preset.
